General Info

: All greeting cards on this site are handmade and originals (not prints).

: If a card is marked "sold," it means the original is sold but prints are available of most cards.

: Cards are signed on the front and ready to be framed (if you don't want to give them away, that is).

: Daily Cards can be found at the shops listed below.

: Feel free to let me know if you find one of the playing cards in your travels. I'd love to hear your story of finding one - where you found it, how you found it, if someone tried to trip you to get to it before you did, etc.

About This Blog

How A Daily Card Came To Be:

-a friend gave me a box of cards and gingerly told me to "do something with them."
-a woman's gleeful and very appreciative response to one of my handmade business cards while I was vending at a holiday bazaar
-a newpaper article on homelessness - which in turn caused the desire to create a street art project.
-all of these events added up to this blog

A Daily Card Will Have 2 components To It:

Part a): I will be creating daily greeting cards for those who have a hearty love for cards and art.

Part b): will be A Daily Card Street Art Project where I will be creating mixed media art pieces on a deck of playing cards that will be distributed on the streets of Portland - in restaurants, on park benches, at bus stops, hanging from trees, in nooks of buildings - anywhere I find an interesting not-so-hidden-hiding spot to distribute them.

My Hope For This Blog/Project:

-I hope you enjoy these greeting cards and share them with loved ones.
-I hope you cherish them for years to come as a piece of framed artwork.
-I also hope that those who find the playing cards on the streets receive some joy, inspiration and anything positive, as the woman who so enjoyed receiving my business card.
